The artists of Kensington and Garrett Park, Maryland are opening their studios to the public for a spring show and sale. Visit this vibrant and growing art community. Get a glimpse into the workspaces of over 15 painters, sculptors, photographers, printmakers, metalworkers, glass artists and other multi-media artists. Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 11am – 5pm. Free. Most studios are centered on West Howard Avenue. Signs and maps will be posted at each studio.

Six artists have studios on a small stretch of Howard Av.
Traveling North on Connecticut turn LEFT onto Howard Av. Travel three tenths of a mile to the first turn. As you descend the hill look LEFT. When you see Acanthus Antiques turn LEFT into the driveway( this is approx three tenths of a mile from Connecticut.) In back of the building go left and left again and you will find Eric Finzi.
Continuing beyond Acanthus Antiques watch left for the British Pine Mine. Turn left here and find O"Neill Studios at the rear of 4142 Howard Av.
After the British Pine Mine, look on the right side. As you approach 4233 turn right and go up the driveway that runs along the building. Park there to see Carolyn Roth's studio, 4233C Howard Av, and then cross the street for the 4 artists at 4228 Howard. Jody Isaacson and Valentine Wolly at the first upper back entry with Kathy Kahn and Bruce Bowers next door.
Alternatively, beyond the British Pine Mine continue down the hill to 4228. Turn left in the driveway between Winslett and Mercedes you'll turn left and find 4 artists in 2 entries at 4228 Howard Av(upper). NOTE: Parking on that side is very limited
